Our Youth Ministry at First Christian Church is a place where students in 7th through 12th grade can belong, grow, and discover what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life. Led by JD Knopp, this ministry is centered on helping students see Jesus as the true standard—not culture, not peers, but Christ Himself.
Through engaging teaching, honest conversations, and meaningful relationships, students are challenged to build a faith that is real, personal, and rooted in truth. Whether through weekly gatherings, small groups, or special events, our goal is to create an environment where students feel known, supported, and encouraged to live boldly for Christ.
No matter where they are in their faith journey, students are invited to come as they are and grow into who God is calling them to be.
They meet on Sunday mornings at from 9:30-10:15 and on Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:30.
