Our Staff

We love our staff and hope that you will too!

Feel free to contact them if you have questions about our church.

  • Ryan Croft

We are happy to announce that we have hired a new lead minister. Ryan and his wife, Mala, will be moving to Morristown soon and Ryan will begin work here in December.

  • Kaleb Smith                                                                              Email

Kaleb became our Student Minister in May of 2017 after graduating from Johnson University with a degree in Preaching and Youth Ministry. Kaleb, along with his wife, Emily, are excited to be a part of the FCC family and look forward to what God has in store for the Lakeway area.

Kaleb is originally from Crawfordsville, IN and Emily is from Savannah, GA. Emily graduated from Johnson University alongside Kaleb with a degree in Teacher Education and is employed at Johnson University in the Advancement office.

Kaleb has a passion for seeing young students passionately pursue the Lord. He loves being able to teach and disciple them  to see that the Word is relevant in every aspect of life. Kaleb is a sport enthusiast, enjoying playing and watching all types, especially golf, ultimate Frisbee, and baseball.

  • Ross McSherry                                                                          Email

My name is Ross McSherry and I am a recent graduate from Johnson University. I grew up in eastern Virginia with my family which includes two sisters, one younger and one older.  Along with leading musical worship, I love playing sports. Music and sports are my two favorite activities. I grew up playing baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, and ultimate frisbee.

I am incredibly excited to be a part of the ministry at First Christian, and I look forward to getting to know all of you better!

  • Dawn Bugher                                                                          Email

The Bugher family was transplanted from Michigan in 1992 by a job transfer. Dawn works part-time as the church Office Manager and loves that her job allows time for being with family, quilting, gardening, music, and various hands-on projects. Bill, her husband, works as an airplane mechanic and in his off time enjoys woodworking, fishing, and tinkering around the house. They have three children: Aaron, Ashley and Timothy, who have all "flown the coop". On Sundays, you will often find Dawn playing flute and Bill sitting at the sound board making sure she's not too loud.
