MIssions

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."    Acts 1:8

We understand this to mean that we should tell about God's love, grace and redemption, starting where we are and moving out into our community and around the world.

  • In our Church

We value our church family as the body of Christ. In caring for the body, we minister to our widows, shut-ins and others who need a little help now and then, along with solid Biblical teaching for all who enter our doors.

  • Locally

We care about our community and want to show the love of Christ to hurting people.  Working with New Creation Community Outreach, we provide a meal,  Bible study, and encouraging interaction the first Sunday evening of each month at their location on South Cumberland. We also participate with the Hamblen County Jail to Work program.

Please contact FCC if you would like to see how you can be involved.

  • Globally

God has blessed us richly and we want to spread that blessing to the ends of the earth.  His blessing is not financial only, but spiritual as well. We pray for and send monthly support to missionaries around the world and occasionally also send ourselves to them!
